Col. McKnight's parting words to MSG Mullen were, "Max, we'll do this again in California..."

Memorial Day weekend 2004, Tehachaipi, CA, MSG Mullen's emotionally charged Bravo Company scored 750 points over the defending champion, Alpha Company, whose 350 points did not reflect the unit's intense fighting spirit.
